Design and mode of Operation:
Specially designed seals protect gaps between fixed and mobile instrument parts against penetration of dirt and bacteria. The front ring at the unit case is designed to ensure that the front plate and the external surface of the front ring form an angle of approximately 135° to each other, and thus create a surface without any sharp junctions. The front ring with the front plate seal is installed flush with the front plate. This leaves only a very small area where bacteria could catch hold. All external parts of the production series are made of thermoplastic synthetic material, which is approved for application in the food processing industry in compliance with European Directives.
